Sort by start date??

I want to sort my tasks by start date in the network diagram view but there
seems to be no sorting allowed when I pull down the sort menu.

Can anyone out there help me??

In a plan with normal finish-to-start dependencies between tasks, the
Network Diagram is "sorted" by start date. However, if the plan contains
task relationships that are less common, (e.g. start-to-finish), you can
effectively have the Network Diagram show them in chronological order by
going to Format/Layout and selecting one of the alternate arrangement
options. For example, Top Down by Day, Week, or Month should give what
you want.
