Sorting Categories in Contacts

Is there any way to sort categories in Outlook. I can't understand why this
is not available as a sort field. I use Outlook Contacts and not Business
contacts. I have Outlook 2003 and XP. Thanks.

Sorting is meaningless on a multivalued field like Categories. Group instead.

Thanks for the response.... I found a menu selection which allows me to
sort by category but I will try to group also.
