sorting files & folders

Why does the sorting of my folders and files within the folder change. Every
one is sorted in reverse. I want the folder's sorted a - z, then the files
sorted a - z. Have not been able to find how to change it.
Thank you
Betty

Hi Betty,

If you're in File=>Open in one of the Office apps
click on the 'Name' bar at the top of the dialog
to change the displayed sort order.
