Sorting folders

D

Dave

Have a user with an Corporate install of Outlook 2000 and
in the folder list, the folders are in the wrong order.
Public folders are on the top and Outlook Today is on the
bottom. Can't resort. Anyone know how to change the sort
order?

Thanks

Huh... wierd.

Try closing Outlook and restarting it using the /ResetFolderNames switch

Close Outlook

Select Start | Run

Enter outlook.exe /ResetFolderNames
(note the space between ".exe" and "/ResetFolderNames")

Select OK

If they're still messed up, try the same as above, but use /ResetFolders
instead of /ResetFolderNames.
