Split task

Can a task be split using a dialog box? I have been trying to split a 12 hour
task into 3 4-hour segments. I am having a difficult time splitting this
using the right arrow to split it.

Hi MrDRBC ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The cleanest way to split tasks is by using the Task Usage view and enter
zeros when you want the split to occur.
