Start Date contraint

Is there a way in Project to specify that a task can only be performed on a
certain day of the week? In other words, I link Task B to Task A, and Task A
finishes on Mon., which puts Task B starting on Tues. However, this
particular task can only be performed on Wednesdays. Other than hard-coding
the Start Date (which I don't want to do because that removes the flexibility
of Project), what options do I have.

Hi bgane,

Create a calendar (Tools > Change working time) that has only Wednesday
as working days.

Double click on the task and on the Advanced tab of the task information
dialog box, set the calendar you just created as the task calendar.

Try creating a calendar showing only Wednesdays as working days, and then
assign that to the task, by using the Advanced tab of the Task Information
dialog box. You'll find a Calendar drop down there.
