Startup Activation app starts: it has been activated already

Upon startup of a new Dell computer the Office Activation application starts
up. Product has been activated already. How do I remove. I have tried to run
the activation again when I get to the activation it just opens word.

try this:

Click the Start button, click Turn off computer, and then click Restart.

Once the system has restarted, do not attempt to close the Dell Activation
Assistant, instead leave it running in the background.


Click Start, and then click Run.
The Run window appears.
Type C:\Dell\DellHelp\DellHelp.exe /d, and then press the <Enter> key.



Click the Start button, click Turn off computer, and then click Restart.
Inform the customer that they have not limited the functionality of their
Office software in any way and that this is simply a cosmetic issue.
