how can you get rid of the sign in network box that pops
up after start up? Im not on a network just home computer.

Not enough specifics to go on but you may actually be connecting
to your hosting provider where your website has been published and
are being required to provide credentials to continue to access and
modify files.

Sound like you are opening the last web when you boot.

Uncheck the box to open last web site automatically from Page > Options
