Hi Roady

Well its like this. I backed up all my outlook files to
CD before someone reformatted my machine. Now I can't
retrieve the folders from the CD. I have taken off the
Read only once copied to the hard drive, ran scanexe and
done what was suggested earlier by Milly but I still
havn't managed to recover my files. Am I missing
something obvious, or perhaps not so obvious.

Can you open the PST file from within Outlook? As in, open Outlook and use
the default PST file it creates, then use file | open ... to open the "real"
pst file to see whether it's got everything in it?
