stop task splitting

I have turned off task splitting on both the Options menu and the resource
leveling control. Nonetheless, MS project splits my tasks when I resource
level. How do I stop this?

I can check and take them out. Do I need to take out Sunday as non-working
also?

Hi,

No, what I meant is days off that are differnt from the days off in the
Project calendar (and thus may lead to non-simultaneous work for different
resources on one task)

I don't think holidays were the problem, but the overall calendar use
appeared to be causing the trouble.

I started a new file with first resetting the standard calandar, and then
pasted all the stuff from the broken file. It works fine now, without
splitting or changing the durations.
