Summary task durations are NOT responding to subtasks

One PC running MSP 2003 does not calculate start, finish or duration based on
sub tasks. Opening the file on another machine works fine.

Erik,
The obvious question, does that PC have Project's calculation set to
automatic?

Hi,

Check Tools, Options, Calculation: Calculation is probably set to Manual.
If so change to Automatic.
