Sync Windows Explorer Folder in Workspace?

It appears I can either:
1. Standard workspace where I can manually add files/folders but cannot
"watch" a windows explorer folder.
2. File Sharing Workspace in which case I can "watch" a windows explorer
folder but cannot have discussions etc.

Is there no way to add a Windows explorer folder to a standard workplace and
have it continually stay watched/synced? i.e. Like a file sharing workspace?

The main benefit of File Sharing is to try and synchronise multiple
devices of your own, for example Internet Explorer Favorurites or your
My Documents. Little "advanced" functionality therein. Workspaces are
meant for collaboration and are the key feature/functionality/cabability
of Groove. 95% of the time (if not more) I'd say using workspaces is
the way you'll go. Folder sharing is an added extra for those who use
multiple computers.
