table cell formatting

Camille

I have 3 tables on my one page doc. The 1st & 3rd tables
have text in 1st columns. The cells in these tables are
configured to have left formatting, horizontal, and
center formatting, vertical, text alignment. However, no
matter what I do, I can't make the top cell in each of
those 2 tables/columns go to center vertical. It stays
on top. Reveal formatting doesn't help me.

thanks

hi Camille,

Can you press on the show/hide button and make sure that it's not something
small like having a carriage return after the text or similar. Also, did
the reveal formatting confirm that the formatting is center vertical? what
about paragraph formatting such as "space after"? Also, do the table cells
have any margins?

Cheers,
Katherine

also, if you don't have this problem in Table 2, are you able to do a format
painter and see if that rectifies the problem?

Hi Katherine,

The reason that Camille was having the problem was because there were
textboxes in the document that were anchored to the
text in the cells.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the

directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
