Yes it is.
Go to Format menu /BAR STYLES (not bar text)
Then choose the style of bar you want to modify (usually you would use the
normal blue bar at the top of the list)
Then in the bottom half of the dialog box click on the text tab.
Choose the inside location and enter (or pick) Name
That should do it.
I don't really like to have the name in the bar because it often is hard to
read and can look strange when the task is short and the name is long.
You might want to try having name under the bar.
