Task cells will not fill completely

In MS Project, if a task has a duration of one(1) day, the cell on the Gantt
Chart will only fill approximately 75%. This will happen for any task
duration. What is wrong?

Hello Tennessee Walker,

Check the option :
Format / Layout... / Round bars to whole days

If it's already checked, have a look at FAQ # 5 : Default working hours
