testing (OT)

Carrie

For a few days now I haven't had posts show up on google groups OR
on a newsgroup server I use in Outlook Express.

If I use another sign in ID (with google) it does work.

But, I don't know why what I post wouldn't show up in google groups
AND in the newsgroups server (regardless of which one I use to post)
they say my post was successful and in the newsgroup server (Outlook
Express) I see the post in my SENT folder. It just never shows up on
the group. I even checked to see if I had myself blocked (LOL) (and
you can't block anyone in google groups)

I'm posting this from google groups, and going to try the MS server,
too. That SHOULD work, it has nothing to do with the newsgroup server
I use for other groups.

Nobody else seems to be having a problem with this, and those I know
off the group and contacted via email have said they don't see my
posts.

Anyway, this is a google group/newserver test so unless someone has
any idea about why it says my posts are successful but they never show
up on the group (with this sign in ID/info) you can just skip it...

Which newsgroup server are you using with OE?

talk.religion.course-miracle

It's a usenet group. It works when I post with another sign in id with
google groups, but not when I use it with the id I USUALLY use (like this
one) and doesn't seem to work at all with the aio.cjb.net news group. I just
tried another newsgroup using that (in O.E.) (a photoshop one) and it
posted.

So, it seems to be just the talk.religion one and that one ID (I use one
with google groups and one with the news server)

It's kind of hard to follow. I've been test posting on various groups,
today. I figured it would show up here (from the newsgroup and google)
because Microsoft is something else.

I posted in various ways to test it earlier.
I went into the O.E. one and changed my name (that shows) from "Carrie"
with a capital C to "carrie" with a small c. I thought there might be
something blocking it with my user name. Though I can't imagine what, since
it's both google groups and the aie.cjb.net newsgroup (in O.E.) and both are
separate. Though they show up on each others, like posts put on google show
up on the news server and vice versa.

And, on google it says "your response has been sucessfully posted" (though
it never shows up) and on O.E. it shows as SENT in my "Sent" folder (but
doesn't show up)

The one I posted with my name and the small c (in O.E.) showed up. It
also shows up on google groups.

Apparently, on both formats of posting to that one group, my (user)name
(with a capital C) is being blocked.
I don't know how this is possible, or it's something someone could do in
some way. If it was something corrupted like a file it might apply to one
group, but to both? One google groups and one the news reader in Outlook
Express?

And, my posts are showing up on other topic groups.

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone (LOL)
