Text box formatting

I have bullet points in a text box, and can't get the bullets to indent (they
stay over on the far left), nor can I get the text to wrap and align where
the text indents. Instead it goes clear to the far left, where the bullet
points are.

I've searched the help section for tips on formatting, but I never seem to
be able to get formatting to work in Powerpoint.

Also, although I select 'Notify me of replies' when posting, I never get the
notification. Is there another help section for these Newsgroups where I can
get that sorted out?

Go to View/Master/Slide Master. Make sure you can see your ruler
(View/Ruler). Select the placeholder (where it says "click to add text").

On the ruler, there are some indent carets. Drag the carets until they're
placed where you want. Hold down the Ctrl key while you drag to get finer
control over placement of the indent carets.
