Text Box Validate

I want to make sure a text box on my form has a value greater then 0. I am
using continuous forms. I have a message box that pops up when I hit ok I
am able to go to the next record. I want it to stay on the current record
until the field has a number.

Any suggestions

make it required in the table, or use a validation rule in your form.
