Text box won't allow text

Trying to create a business flyer and half way through I insert another text
box and it will not let me type in the text box. I have already created
several text boxes on this document and did not have this problem. Why can't
I type in the text box?

What happens when you try?

Do you have a border, send it to the back and try typing again. Or drag the text
box to the scratch area, can you type in it now? If you can, drag the text box
back, if the text disappears you can be sure you have something in front of it.
