Text flying in over text

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I am working on a list on an older version of PPT at home (2004) but when I run the PPT on a newer computer (Mac or PC) the slide changes. On the older version, my list just flies in one item at a time when I hit the space bar, but on the newer version of PPT the list appears in a ligther color and then each item lays over the original version as it flies in. I do not want a lighter version on the screen; I just want the list to fly in. I have uploaded a screenshot to imageshack if this isn't making sense.

You can see that the first two items of the list are brighter but the bottom 3 lists are already on the screen when I don't want that information there until I click to have it fly in.

Does anyone know how do I can fix this problem? Thanks.

This sounds like a bug that hasn't yet been fixed. It's due to the Shadow
applied to the Content Placeholder. You can fix it if you select the
placeholder then on the Formatting Palette's Shadow group clear the check.
