I'm receiving this error (Err=1286) when using a 3rd party
application to insert a graphic. (That application uses
its own macro to insert the graphic and display it in
Word, but it fails because this Word error appears.)
The error seems to be only on my machine, and relates to
my Word configuration somehow. Does anyone know what might
cause this error to occur?
(I don't believe that it's the file type that is a
problem - for example, the graphic is inserted correctly
if it was stored on the LAN, but strangely enough does not
work when stored on a local drive.)
