Time calculations

When i input a new task the start date gives it a star time, therefor showing
a task may take 8.2 days, How do I eradicate this

Hello Ben,

Removing the time from displayed in the start date does not change
anything. I'm not sure whether you are typing in dates for starts and
finishes, but if you are, you shouldn't be.

You should be creating your project schedule by entering task names, and
durations. The *dates* for the task start and finish should be driven
by creating predecessor/successor relationships between the tasks.
