Too convoluted

Why cant MS just make things simple? They cant seem to get it right... KISS
means keep it simple stupid!

Bob I

Ah, but it's been reported that some folks actually want choices!
Imagine how that complicates things. For you, I suggest a pencil and
paper, and leave computers to the folks that can handle some technology.

Maybe you are right "BOB" I am an MCSE and have to struggle with the
extremely convoluted documentation from MS all the time. I am sick of it, and
am getting ready to jump ship. I will leave the choices to you... We only
need ONE dependable way to get things done, not 10, which individually change
everything.... Keep up with the old paradigm there BOB, pretty soon you will
be looking for work too.

I'd be willing to bet my last dollar that Bob is not a Microsoft employee.
'Softies do not usually visit these newsgroups. And even if they did, your
original post did not mention a specific Office-related issue so they
probably would not have commented.

If you have issues with documentation, then I'd suggest that you search the
MS website for an email address, mailing address, or phone number and
contact the company directly. You're more likely to get some sort of a
response (even a canned one) if you submit your questions/issues to the
right channels.

He is an MCSE.. are you curtseying low enough?.. and is curtseying really a

I was thinking something along those lines but since today is Mickey Mouse's
birthday, I thought I'd be nice.

Look folks, Ive worked in UNIX, Windows, Novell. Now I'm looking at OSX
server and administratrion. We'll see where that goes and how that
works...and how the company treats its technical folks... I'll report back in
a year.

Sorry to hear it, I help users configure what they want, so I suspect

Is your complaint about too many choices or too difficult to figure out
how to do certain things? If too many choices, too bad. Choice is good
in its own right, and only one way to do most things is almost always
bad.

If you mean too difficult to figure out how to do anything, complaints
without particulars don't provide any information except about your
emotional state, and they certainly don't allow any possibility for
improvement.
