I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I downloaded the sniptool
from Microsoft on the Tablet page and it is a nifty little program for
snipping and saving almost anything you get on the screen. Works quickly and
intuitively and has only a few options which is all you need.

The Snipping Tool, which is part of the Tablet PC Experience Pack, is only
for Tablet PCs. OneNote, as you know, will run on both Tablet PC and laptop
or desktop (without the digital inking available only on the Tablet).

On my PC at home I use a screen snipper by George!. Wasn't free like the one
fm MS on my Tablet but it works good and does quite a bit more. It can also
be used on the tablet.

If you haven't already, I would recommend downloading the Experience Pack
for Tablet PC. It has a much-improved Snipping Tool, along with some other
nice items. Details are available here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tabletpc/experiencepack/default.mspx
Please note that it will only install on the English-based operating system,
and you must be running XP SP2 and the Tablet PC Edition 2005.

I ran across a link the other day on how to send an Excel file to SPI
OneNote via XML. It can be done, but the author of the link below was having
some difficulty with the GUID (i.e. "bookmark" for MS Word users). I't's not
Word or Powerpoint, but the process should be the same. It may need a little
polish, but I'm sure that SP2 will most likely refine the process. The
article is very detailed:

Cool stuff there...
