Transition of pictures

Marty Graw

I have seen a P.P.P. where the presentor had his pictures changing in the
form of a cube. This looked really eye-catching and I would like to know how
this was done. Any help is greatly appreciated.

He/she probably used fill effects on an autoshape and then custom animations
to have them display.

Insert a cube autoshape, then click on format, Autoshape and use fill
effects to "fill" the autoshape with a picture.

Animate as desired.

I'm not quite sure I fully understand your desired
outcome, but you can insert a photo into a cube by doing
the following:

Use your drawing tool to draw a box.
Use your 3D tool to convert the box to 3D
Right click on the cube and click format autoshape.
Select Fill Color and drop down to Fill Effects. Click
on the Picture Tab and click Select Picture. Browse until
you've found your desired photo, insert, then click on
Lock Aspect Ratio, if needed. Click OK. Click OK.

This fulfills your "photo" need. You can now animate
this cube as needed.

Hi Marty,

if you do not want to animate pictures ON a slide, but the slide
transitions, have a look at Crystal Graphic's PowerPlugs, they offer a lot
of effects: http://www.crystalgraphics.com/ You'll also find a cube there.

Kind regards,
Ute
