trial version

I dowloaded and activated the trial version of Visio 2007, but, I cannot do
anything in the program. No shapes will drop/drag, all templates etc are
greyed out. How do I test the program?

I just downloaded the trial version last night, and am having the exact same
issue. I'm pretty close to just deleting the entire thing and writing it off
as useless. I assume it has to be a bug of some sort, as looking through
greyed-out menus tells me nothing about how useful the program is.

There may be something wrong with your installation; rest assured that the
intent of the trial version is not to have you stare at greyed out menus!

Hi,

This is bug in Visio 2007 trial installation. Just close Visio and try
again and it will work.
