trouble retrieving saved documents

i saved my 2003 word document. then when i go in and try to retrieve it. it
tells me the file is not available. i noticed also when i saved that when i
try to close out the word window it asked me something about a "normal
template or a global template" what is this talking about?

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus. See
