Do you have the Advanced Toolbar active? Right click on the toolbar area
and enable it.
Then use of of the pre-defined dropdown views.

||||| If you have a View set that you are happy with for your Inbox,

||||||| expanded (in tree view) shows the other folders eg Inbox, Sent
||||||| etc? The various views are adjusted via the View menu option,
