Unable to activate Publisher

I am unable to activate my Publisher as when I attempt to this via that
Internet,
the Internet Explorer stops because it runs a scrip error and does not
produce any boxes to fill in the program information.
When I click the box to activate by phone, It does not give me a phone
number to ring.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before all my lives run out !!

In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, tools, Advanced tab, check "Disable
Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)", check "Disable Script Debugger (other)", clear
"Display a notification about every script error."

There should be a phone number on the activation page.

Did you select a country? You won't get a phone number unless you select a
country.

It sounds like your Internet Explorer engine is having problems with active
scripting. You might try searching your computer for spyware or asking for
some help in the Internet Explorer newsgroups.

Are you having trouble viewing websites with Internet Explorer?

I have changed the settings as you suggest, but have had no success, and,
although I choose a country properly, a phone number does not appear for me
to ring to complete the activation. Do you have any further suggestions

You didn't say which version of Publisher so I assumed 2003, without the
digital editing. I don't know if that makes a difference.
