Unable to launch Outlook

When I try to launch Outlook 2000 nothing happens initially, and then
receive a prompt to insert Office 2000 CD to find SBERET.MSI file.
I've seen some discussion on this topic, but cannot seem to find
solution

Inserted the CD already and have the installer have its way to repair
itself?

Yes, I've tried to the CD, but it does not help because the system i
unable to locate the needed file. I have even tried to uninstall an
reinstall Outlook, but it doesn't help
