Unable to print publisher files

Hello. I have recently installed a new printer and now my
publisher files wont print. Illegal. After the first
opening, they will no longer even OPEN the file let alone
get to the part where I print it!
I reconnected the OLD printer and it still wont print
through there. I am totally lost now.
ANY HELP?
