Unable to register Office 2008 Trail Version

I downloaded the Trail Version of Office 2008 but when I came to start
the registration process the spinning green dots would appear but
never stops. Therefore when I click on any of the Office components in
the dock, a window appears and I go through the same thing. It's like
a loop. Only the word Word or the others appears in the Menu line.
I called Tech Support but they could not help.What's going on here?

We can't help with the download trial version. I suggest buying the hard
copy. It's cheaper and you don't have this kind of problem.
