Unwanted delays

Every 10 seconds, my cursor changes to an hourglass and
I'm forced to stop typing. I've checked every setting I
can find with no luck.

As I do a lot of work in Word, this problem is driving me
nuts!

Please help.

Couple of ideas:

If your documents are large or full of graphics, do you have enough RAM memory? Lack of memory space can cause this to happen

Do you have AutoSave turned on? Everytime my docs autosave, this happens even though I've got a full Gig of memory.
