Updates won't install

I am unable to download and install any of the current patches or updates. I
have done the reinstall process many times, but it always fails.

I deleted the temp internet files, update folder files, update activex
controls as mentioned in MKBA 319585, but it didn't work.

What am I missing? Thanks.

"fails" and "didn't work" tell us nothing about what you did, and what the
resulting behaviors were. Can you elaborate?
