URGENT Wife's emails have vanished

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

My wife and I are travelling right now and are in a hotel with wifi. She worked last night in bed using her entourage, but this morning, while downloading her email she got an error message (she seems to think the message had the number 1066 associated with it). She shut down the program and then reloaded it, but it started up as a brand new version of Entourage and none of her emails, addresses, contacts, etc, were there. I can see her database still exists (it's 560MB, so I know it's not empty) but I can't seem to import it, and she's frantic because she's in the middle of a deadline project and can't find all her emails!

Please help!

The database needs to be restored to the default location, it probably go
moved.
Move it back to Hard Drive - Users - Folder with the house - Documents -
Microsoft User Data - Office 2004 identities - Main Identity
Then restart your Mac and it should be back.
When its still empty; try this site:

560MB is pretty small.

Examples of a blank database
2004 --> 18.1 KB
2008 --> 22.6 MB

It doesn't sound like it was moved accidentally which is the usual problem,
but if Entourage was not shut down properly it could be in lost & found, an
invisible file. If you have virus software, it could have quarantined your
database.

See the solutions here:

If you get the correct number, you can check the Error Page:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/error/page.html>

Hope this helps!
