User name settings

I've recently upgraded to windows 2000 from windows 95.
When trying to access my corporate email account through
outlook the user id and exchange server no longer default.
Can anybody help or point me in the right direction.

What version of Outlook and what have you got when you open Outlook, is it
just a personal folder file. Are you connected to the network that the
Exchange Server are on or do you use a VPN, dial up.
