Using 2 templates in the one document

Gabrielle

I've been sent 2 Powerpoint documents that need merging, each using different
templates (which I suspect are custom-made, because they don't show in the
template design list, except as Üsed in this presentation").

I would like to use the formatting of one document for all slides, except
the first slide--for that one, I'd like to retain the original formatting.
Can someone please tell me how I retain the formatting for that one. Every
time I use either ïnsert slide from file" or simply drag it from one window
to the next, it takes on the formatting of the other document.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
Gabrielle

All Depends on the version of PowerPoint your using.

A You MUST be using a version which supports multiple masters! (XP on)
B If you are first insert all slides except the first and then insert just
the first but tick "keep source formatting"

Did that answer the question / help?
