Using Access 2000 with Word 2000 Mail Merge

I'm using an Access 2000 parameter query as the datasource
and am using a command button with a hyperlink to the Word
2000 document. The parameter query is linked to the mail
merge Word document. Choosing the command button in
Access I'm prompted to enter a date. The Word document
opens and I can scroll through all 43 records. However,
when I merge to printer, only 22 records print. I also
notice that the last record is blank.

This happens with any mail merge document that's using a
parameter query and command button.

Another example with show two records, but only 1 record
prints. If there's only one record, nothing prints.

How can this problem be solved?
