Using Filters in Custom Reports

Hi,

I am creating a custom report to show tasks that should
have started by a certain date. I'd like to show them
only for a certain team, which is designated by entries
in a text field.

I have based the custom report on a table and view that
filters by the team I want, but the report will still
show all team info.

Any suggestions to get that filter to really be applied?

My first question is, which Text1 field are you using for the team
designation? Is it task Text1 or resource Text1? A simple way to answer
that question is by telling us which view you are using. For example, if
it is a Gantt type view and the Text1 team designation can be shown then
it is task Text1. Similarly if Text1 only shows the team while in the
Resource Sheet view then it is a resource Text1.

Getting the Text1 team designation matched up with the proper filter
(i.e. task or resource) should get the results you are looking for.
