Using message forms (beginner)

Rob

Hi there.
I finally figured out enough of the workings of forms to create/publish a
new message form, but it's obviously doing what i am telling it to do and not
what i want it to...

MY Question is this: when i design a message form, how do i get the data
entered on the form to display on a single window in the resulting email?
Here's what i tried:

I have a bunch of text boxes/combos the user can select/enter data.
Originally i put these controls on the messgae tab after getting rid of the
big text box that is there when you open a new message form. When i run the
form and finish inputting data and click on SEND, i receive the email in my
inbox but i cannot see the data.

I then moved everything over to the P2 tab and made it viewable. I worked
to the extent that i could get to the data in the email because the email had
a P2 tab on it as well as the message tab. So i tried hiding the message tab
and all the TO/SEND buttons were gone. I want everything the user enters to
appear in the main window of the resulting email. What am i missing?

Thanks for any help!
Rob
