Using one file on two computers

I currently have two networked computers in the house and would like to use
both of them to access the same outlook file. Is there any magic to making
this happen or do they both need to have seperate files.

I could share the file on my main system and then have the laptop access it.
However, I am concerned about being logged on on one computer and then
trying to access the same files from the other other one.
