Using Options from Tools menu shuts down Outlook

Whenever I try to use the 'options' in Outlook, the program closes down.
When I open Outlook again I get a message that it wasn't closed properly.

Help - I need to be able to use options to get to my signatures.

Version? Close outlook then find and delete or rename outcmd.dat an

I think that you may disable antivirus e-mail scanning or disable some
add-ons if you have them! Try to start Outlook from command line Start> Run>
outlook /a

That didn't work either Peter. Still closed down. I haven't changed any
antivirus settings either. I don't have any add-ons that I know of.
