Using Sharepoint Team Services

At work I use Sharepoint to display shreadsheets of data.
At home I use Frontpage 2002 SharPoint Team Services and I
cannot get the Excell table frame. Why is that?

The Excell component at work allows me to display a table
in an Excell spreadsheet style, but at home I tell it to
import a spreadsheet and it shows an ugly table that does
not even allow me to show lines.

Also, at work, I can add pictures, database files, Excell
spreadsheets, and other types of documents to the document
library, but at home I can only add Word documents... why
is that?

Are you connecting to the same STS server (work thru a VPN or web link) in each case?
- you can't run STS locally if you don't have the STS server installed on your PC
- all you can use locally is the OWC
