video in PowerPoint 2003

I run a lot of video through my PowerPoint presentations. I have noticed
that in media player the videos are alot clearer and not as pixilated as
they are when I run them through PowerPoint 2003.

Is there a way to make my video's look better when I run them through
PowerPoint?

PowerPoint uses the MCI (Multimedia Control Interface?) and not WMP. MCI is
less efficient.

Sonia, I've read that and tried everything suggested and could not get
PPT2003 to use WMP instead of the MCI. I had to insert a WMP object to get
movies to play in WMP and that causes other problems as we all know. If it
was easy they wouldn't call it work.
