Video Projection/Presentation Problem

We have a PowerPoint presentation that incorporated a
video. While running the presentation on the laptop, the
pictures and the words work just fine. But when she
connected it to the projector, the words were way behind
the pictures. How can we fix this problem?

But I suspect you are having this problem...

I infer from the question that the slide attempts to synchronize animated
PowerPoint text boxes and a video clip on the same slide.
If this is the case, the two different processes could get out of synch.
When I add animated text to a movie I add animated text to the movie in the
movie production tool, then the text becomes part of the movie so there is no
synching problem.
