Visio 2003 Hyperlinks Not Saving In HTML

Help,
I have a diagram with many shapes and connectors. I am able
to insert hyperlinks on ten of the shapes and save the Visio chart.
When I open the Visio 2003 chart, I am able to view and click on the
hyperlinks in full view mode. When I save the Visio 2003 chart as
HTML, no hyperlinks show up in the HTML MAP section. I am trying to
copy the MAP HTML and graphic into a static web site for use in one of
our intranet sites. Any ideas how to retain the hyperlinks when saving
as HTML ?

What I been able to use in the Hyperlink wizard box is the following
setup:

a) Create HTM versions of pages I have created in VISIO or other HTML
developement tools.
b) Using the "INSERT/Hyperlink" or "CTRL" + "K" command, I get a dialog
box linking the particular object with the new linked document.
c) USE relative path check box and write the following in the
"ADDRESS" window:"/../..//DirectoryName/FileName.htm."
d) then when all my links are in, use the "Save as Webpage" option.
e) This allows me to move the whole directory to ANY media (cd rom,
memory stick, ect) and it would work...

I think I just figured out part of my issue. I am grouping all shapes
from the original Visio chart into one picture, copying the picture,
and pasting into a new Visio as an Enhanced Metafile. I do this to
resize the image smaller for the Web. After resizing the image, I
ungroup the image and I can then insert hyperlinks into the shapes.

I think the issue is, copying and pasting as a metafile drops all my
previous mapped coordinates
on my shapes and when I save my new chart as HTML, is doesn't know how
to map all the shapes correctly and it cant save my hyperlinks. Is
this the case ? Anybody ?

correct copying and pasting as a metafile removes the visio attributes from
the shape.

Is there an easy way to resize the whole image, like using a metafile
picture, without losing all the attributes and having to resize all
shapes and text ? I have tried resizing the group and all the shapes,
connectors, and text get moved around and it takes a lot of effort
putting it back together again.

by "I have tried resizing the group and all the shapes" do you mean that you
created a group out of the selection, and then attempted to resize the
group, before ungrouping them?

Sorry, my stomach was growling louder than I could hear myself type.
Now that I'm back and full, the answer to your question is Yes. I
select all shapes on the chart, group them together, and then try to
resize the group. That's when I am having issues having to reassemble
everything.
