Visio Enterprise Version

I would appreciate if someone would take a look at Visio for Enterprise
Architects and tell me the build number. I'm trying to determine if the
version I'm running is 2002 or 2003.

My build number is 10.0.2705 and I'm under the impression that it's Visio
2003 but Microsoft Update indicates a service pack for 2002 should be
installed.

if you are at 10 then it is the v2002 version (named 2003 on purpose), the
v2003 version to keep everyone interested (i.e. 11) is named v2005.

visio 2003 (v11) came out close to vs.net 2003 which really wanted to
include the tool. Unfortunately the modeling (software and database) tools
is an addon whose team wasn't able to upgrade the current v2002 addon in
time. So the v2002 product was renamed v2003. And the saga continues......

ps hopefully all will come together next year some time.

Now you have me confused.

VEA 2003 came out before Visio 2003, so it contains Visio 2002 (The 2003)
refers to VEA not Visio.
Recently VEA 2005 was released and guess what. It does not contain Visio
2005, but Visio 2003 (the last version of Visio released by MS).
