I'm using FP 2003
And no matter what I do I can not get past this problem

(7. Right-click the new folder and then click Properties on the menu that
appears. In the Properties dialog box, click to clear the Allow scripts or
programs to be run check box. Make sure the remaining check boxes are
selected (checked). Click OK.

NOTE: If the check boxes are shaded, verify that you opened or created a
Web. In Folder view, the first item in the Folder List pane should show a URL
(http://...), not a file path (C:\...).)

The Boxes are alway GRAY what am i doing wrong???????
IF I HAD HAIR I WOULD PULLING OUT ABOUT NOW.
I use Ipowerweb.com for my service

The settings are only available on the remote server, and only if the host
allows the file upload component. You may need to contact them.

However you can check with your web host to see if they have a service-side script available or you
can search for PHP or CGI-Perl based one to use.

They Do have the Option to INSTALL FRONTPAGE EXT.Which I have Done.
They can also put me on a windows base server for a few more bucks (not much
more)
So by having them move me over to a windows base server WILL that solve all
my problems?
Thanks so Much

Before moving to the Windows server, make sure that your web host will allow you to use the File
Upload component.
