what are administrative projects and how do I use them?

I have maintenance routines that are run on an as needed bases so I created a
project file titled “Maintenance†and stored all of those tasks there. Now
all of my resources are over-allocated. Would a administrative project help
resolve this issue?

Hello Top Cat,

You can use an administrative project to manage these unscheduled
activities. But I'll not really help for levelling the resources load.
With or without the use of an Administrative projet, you'll have to use the
leveling feature : open all the projets, then :
Tools / Resources leveling....

One more thing about administratives projets :
By default, the Priority of administrative tasks is set to 1000 : highest
priority. That's important in the leveling feature.
