What is the best print setting to use for printing on fabric?

I'm a quilter and wish to do some printing onto fabric. past results look a
bit washed out, what would be the recommended setting for better quality

Your printer almost certainly isn't designed for this job. If you turn the
ink volume right up, you might get better colour intensity, and set the
printer to the most absorbent paper type there (blotting paper if
available!). You'll may find the ink seeping along the strands of fabric,
though. A double pass with dry time would give better colour intensity and
lower chance of bleeding. A specialist printer for printing fabrics
(posssibly dye sublimation, but I'm out of my depth, here!) would be the
best option, but these aren't cheap!
